We saw the Barber of Seville, and you become part of the opera in its intimate setting. The singing and music was excellent, the old palace rooms that each scene were set in were lovely. Be warned if you sit in the front row, you actually will be involved. Figaro combed my hair, the Count left me with his wine bottle and used me to fend off the attack from the Doctor, and then made stink eyes at me in an overstated comical way for the rest of the night. I have never laughed so hard at the opera!<\/span> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Then after the second intermission the chairs became way too uncomfortable and it was way too hot. Had to leave as we were very, very uncomfortable. The first section is also the most familiar to non-expert opera attendees. If it was 1\/3 the length it would have been perfect. Or better chairs or air conditioning. It was nice and cool at the start but quickly warms up.<\/span> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Such a great experience. The performers were very talented, and simply approaching the entrance to the building had a feeling of exclusivity that you may not get at other shows. \nLa acci\u00f3n transcurre en el siglo XVII, por lo tanto las salas de Palazzo Barbarigo-Minotto aportan un escenario ideal, enriquecido por el complemento natural de sus magn\u00edficos muebles barrocos.
\nLos dos actos de la \u00f3pera se representan en tres salones distintos:
\nPortego (sal\u00f3n central), Sala Tiepolo y Camera con l’Alcova (dormitorio integrado en una alcoba); en el descanso es posible admirar la belleza de las salas con vistas al Canal Grande.
\nLa arquitectura del palacio, con sus innumerables puertas de madera preciosa, les permite a los artistas moverse en el espacio del escenario “de bulto”, haciendo que el p\u00fablico participe en la m\u00e1s divertida de las \u00f3peras de Rossini.
\nLos locales est\u00e1n iluminados con velas y el vestuario refinado, dise\u00f1ado por Antony Knight, se inspira en los vestidos del pasado y est\u00e1 hecho con tejidos preciosos.
