Opera Gala
The Grand Gala opens in the central hall, lighted candle, the introductory notes of “Libiam ne ‘ lieti calici” which opens with an intense musical framework dedicated to “La Traviata“: the voice of the performers, so intimately close, is vibrate all the strings of the soul.
The Gala goes into the hall with frescoes by GB Tiepolo, where even the extraordinary beauty of the eighteenth century stuccos may distract the viewer from the liveliness of the scenes and bravura singing of “The Barber of Seville“.
The Grand Finale is represented in the room with the alcove where the Lehar waltzes and some “musical surprises” involve the public in times of genuine and refined enjoyment.
At the end of the concert, along with the artists, and we toast the Carnival is celebrated in the halls of the Grand Canal and enjoy the typical sweets of this festival: Frittole and Galani, combined with the Prosecco and fine wines.
